Part 3: Using the Predator to Heal

In the first two parts of this article, we explored the vital importance of holding the predator as something outside of self, “Not me.” Now we’re ready to explore two more options: 1) Use the fact of the nearly constant predation as a powerful way to assist in the healing work.  2) Change our identity, move our ‘I’ to the very, very large Being that can experience the predator as part of itself.

Part 2: Stalking the Predator

Imagine two creatures in a forest, one is a very skilled and experienced predator, and the other creature has just learned about the presence of the predator. The first thing the newly-aware creature will want to do is get out of the predator’s territory. For us, this is as easy (or difficult) as getting out of the mind, the cosmic predator’s home base.
